Sterling Silver® Pork is naturally full of flavor; therefore, the fewer flavors you need to add to it. Simply season it with some salt and pepper. I like to add a little garlic powder and olive oil. Finish with a small amount of butter when you pull it off the grill.


Choose boneless pork chops for convenient and quicker preparation. Chops with the bone attached are attractive and can be the perfect compliment to a gathering with friends or family.


Doing a simple brine can enhance the true pork flavor and enhance grilling. Combine 1 cup salt, ½ cup sugar, 3 quarts water, 20 peppercorns and 2 sprigs rosemary to make a delicious brine. Heat everything together and cool. Add in your pork chops and allow to sit overnight. Remember not to season the pork too much after the brine or it will be salty.


Adding wood chips while grilling enhances the flavor of the meat. Simply soak some hickory or mesquite chips in water for 6 hours. Add directly to charcoals or in a cast iron pan if using gas. Remember to keep the lid down so the smoke can flavor the meat.


Pork chops can often be overcooked. To achieve optimal tenderness and juiciness, cook chops until the internal temperature reaches 150° F and is a little pink inside. Let rest for 5 minutes to bring the temperature up to 160° F.
